"Until I installed this driver I couldn't use my scanner in Windows XP. This driver comes with a utility called "Deldrv1205.exe" which you can use to uninstall the scanner driver. I recommend you run this *BEFORE* installing the driver as it seems Windows XP had previously automatically installed an incompatible driver which was the cause of my problems! Then just add the new driver using Add/Remove Hardware. One gripe is that the installer automatically unpacks to C:\Temp which is not my usual temp drive! So if you don't have a C: drive this installer will probably fail..."
