"I tried some of the other versions of PL-2302 drivers here but they were unstable. This one from the mfg. site (www.prolific.com) in Taiwan is stable for me, running at 2.2Ghz, 400Mhz FSB, AMD K6 AthlonXP at 3200+

FINALLY, a stable driver for this dratted USB thing from 2002."
