"Finally!! My Dinosaur Sony Multiscan monitor (a freebie from Monster when they upgraded office systems)was a nightmare to find a driver for. Without the correct driver it was almost useless with low res settings only functional. Tried everything-even Sony couldn't give me a useable driver- the ones they had did not work. The sony Driver in this package not only worked but actually correctly Identified the monitor so that it appears in the system info. as a Sony trinitron multiscan with model group identification instead of as "monitor". Install was a bit confusing but since I speak a little German I eventually figured it out. Had to unpack the exe file and find the sony group and install manually. If you have the same problems I did-persevere! It may take a few tries but the result is worth it!!"

"Update on my last comment! I don't read German too well, but I figured out if you run the little "monitor.exe" file included in the download, it unzips a whole lot more drivers! The one I wanted; MD1786LF.inf, was there for me to use. Installation was easy using device manager / update driver."

"I was looking for a driver for the Sony Trinitron 15SF1. The driver in this package was older than the one Microsoft provided so I decided to skip it and just keep going on the default drivers.

Also. I didn't know what I was or wasn't agreeing to in the installation, being I don't read or understand German."

"This place socks I had been for a driver that appears to be but when I click on it it shows me all the other models but the one I need.
