"try installing multilanguge support and include italian and spanish... my bet is itallian or spanish from the comments left by the user who posted it.
To install multilanguage support
Open the Add/Remove Programs dialog box at the Windows Setup tab.
Click Multilanguage Support, and then click Details.
Make sure a check mark appears beside the language or languages you want to use.
Click OK, and then click OK again.
The changes take effect after your computer restarts.
"This program is no good since it's langauge can not be read. So if your reading this your probably looking to fix your 1402s monitor too. I know how frustrating it is so I thought i could share how I eventually fixed my display problems on my 1402s monitor. DOWNLOAD 2 PROGRAMS FROM THIS SITE. #1. pbmon exe. & #2. pb136d exe. Install both & then change your monitor in the display settings under advanced (win98) monitor-Packard Bell & model-PACKARD BELL PNP 5480(microsoft 5-11-98). Don't know why this works for my 1402s monitor but it does. I hope it helps for any & all 1402s owners."
