use it for my compaq presario 2164ea and it works fine. its a bitch to find drivers to it. and there is none on compaqs hompage. i have just tryed it on w2000 so it maybe works on other windosw to.

"There's a later version out there. On the Toshiba Satellite 1805 S204 model, the sound has a bad habit of getting stuck (associated with a particular program or file) and not releasing to other applications again. I have yet to find a fix."
