"Using Xp Pro on a home built machine required the following steps with this driver. The original instructions did not work for me.

Install SB0220 Card

Click Audio Folder

Click Drivers Folder

Select CTZAPXX.EXE and follow instructions.

"After reading through the comments and finding the correct way to easily instal this driver I had no problems. Card works like new. This driver is a pain to try and get. Thank you for sharing this."

"works perfectly! run the ctzapxx.exe file that can be found on the audio/drivers folder then reset and voila! problem solved!"

"The driver worked, but the instructions for installing it were incorrect.

It said to go to the audio folder and click "run.exe". No such file.

If you click on either of the 2 executables it gives you an error about missing disk id. What I did instead is to go back to device manager and right click the audio device and reinstall driver from the new audio folder. Same for a couple of other devices that popped up when I did a refresh."

The windows installs were of secondary interest as I'm mainly running GNU/Linux, where the SB Live!5.1 SB0220 is well supported providing one finds and loads the soundfont."

"If you have the SB0220 you need to have the original disc to install and not a small part of it.

I still get the message, there is no soundblaster audigy card found on your system.

This card is not a audigy card so these drivers are no good."
