"Loaded some of the drivers however also had to load OPTi82C925.zip which then requested Snd925p.drv which was not on the disk. Then I downloaded opti_82C.Zip which then placed a line in autoxec.bat c:\windows\system\snd4dos.exe

but snd4dos was not there. Copied it there and the soundcard worked.

I cannot comment on the reliability.

I wish I had started with opti_82c.zip"
