"Try the Europe site of www.umax.com. You just might find an alternate Device Driver, for Windows 2K. I did for my Umax S-12. It's called Magic Scan and works OK. Not perfect, but OK."

"I don't think this is necessarily a "driver" per se, but an "updated" version to the vistascan software ~ one that works with W2k. I had previously tried UMAX for a W2k driver, but found it was not supported. I also tried their update to the vistascan software for NT to no avail. I installed the original software I received with the scanner, but received memory errors. However, after donwloading this and running the .exe, the scanner took off like a trooper! Thanks Jan!"
