"I had no need to reinstall. Had this driver before.

The function is incomplete. HW is up and running.

Drivers are up and running, BUT completely ignored by WinXP.

It seems as if a second SW-layer is missing, connecting eg.

the "C-Media WDM Audio Device" (which is activated) to Windows.

In the "Legacy Audio Drivers" NO device is entered after install.

This way there is no audio input devive and no audio output device

accessable for Windows (except the squeaker).

I do not know the TRICK yet how to fill the gap like it was done
