"i don't understand the words. it wanted to save files to a folder. after i done that and copied files, driver update does not recognized the .inf files or maybe its the wrong drivers for my device."
"I entered a request for driver for( Conexant CX11252-11 ) for a Win/2000
operating system. The guide kept pushing to a Win/ME system driver. Next to that was the above driver EXE saying it was "WIN all", so I chose that one and it opened as a file with foreign language in it that I couldn't understand..
I couldn't do a thing with it , and didn't know why it would say "Win all"
"I had 2 identical modems for a Dell Win XP computer..1 worked using these drivers and one did not.. However, I was able to use this for a Win98SE clone and it worked just fine.
"Windows XP can automatically know this modem as "Generic SoftK56" but mostly system crashes after install. You must copy the 2K directory to your harddisk and open XP in safe mode.
