 "Man I want to thank who ever put this driver on this sight and who ever created the sight. I am (now was) working on an IBM 300PL Model 6862-82U with a CS4235 audio chip on the mother board. I had to install a new drive and put on Win98 everything went great until it came to the sound driver. I think I tried every one out there until Google found this one for me. I had been messing with this for 2 days and was honestly concidering to put it in the medal recycling pile until now. You are the best.

"My CS4236 sound card stopped working after a change of hard drive. After 5 failures with other drivers specified for Win98 and CS4236B, I downloaded this one, unzipped and copied to a floppy, and just used the wizard to install. IT WORKS!! I'm Really Pleased! Thanks very much."

"THIS WORKED!!! I have searched everywhere with no success until I found this post. I have a 233 and after making the "Sound" folder and copying the zip onto my C drive as Rob suggested, I was able to just double-click the set up without unzipping anything....A successful end to a 5 day "silent" and frustrating ordeal.
