 "This actually works fine for a CMD 649 Dual-channel IDE controller purchased from CompUSA several years ago. The driver is for Win2K but works with XP. The only error I see is that one of the two channels has a yellow error sign next to it in device manager, however, I only have one drive on it at the moment, so the second channel may not allow the driver to load. I had to reboot twice, once after installing the driver, the second reboot was after the controller detected the new hard drive. But it works just fine now! Thanks!
