"Hi Everyone!
I'm usimg this driver to my KWorld USB TV Box [KW-TVUSB506RF] only on my laptops.
Few notes:
-Windows XP installation is embroiled (read Word Document enclosed to driver)
-WinXP with ServicePack 2 will automatically find the driver located in c:\windows\setup5a folder and replace "IntelPC CameraPro"
-On some laptops with Win2000, WinXP SP1 od SP2 -> Memory Dump with Blue screen from time to time.
Solution: Always happen when Internet Connection is online. Disconnect LAN, modem and other internet links. Do not browse web when watching TV
Soluton2: If you have no Internet connection, reduce 'Hardware Acceleraton' (Click Right on Desktop »>» 'Properties' menu »>» 'Settins" tab »>» 'Advanced' button »>» 'Troubleshoot' tab »>» 'Hardware Acceleraton' slide <<- Set to "Disable all but basic acceleration")
- "Windows Longhorn" - Many hours and ideas but unsuccessful. Longhorn cannot execute 'KWold MPEG TV STation' installation (even in compatibility mode). You can install this soft (and drivers) on other computer (with tracing installation changes - use 3rd part software). Then copy drivers from C:\WINDOWS\setup5a to Longhorn and install driver from this location (as in XP SP1 - see doc).
Copy sofrtware from c:\program files\.... and look into
installation log (generated with some 3rd part installation/deinstallation soft). Make all nessesery REGISTRY, Files, and winows changes. Run PCTV viewer.
Dosen't work?? :-) well...it just means that we are on the same point. IF YOU KNOW HOW TO INSTALL THIS DEVICE IN LONGHORN, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
And last but not least: IF YOU HAVE L I N U X DRIVER TO THIS TV USB CARD, PLEASE CONTACT ME!
