"The driver install was straight-forward and easy only a restart was needed. I didn't let that bother me, though the usage should be available without restarting also.

The system hung with scanning 300+DPI pictures - I don't consider this normal as only HDD-LED should have lit up not CPU to 100%. I didn't dig much in but I assume its the drivers because every other program responded the same (actually "Not Responding..." was the message), but the images ended up good and no transmission errors."
