 "I'm amazed! It actually runs my old B/W quickcam on XP SP2. As if that wasn't enough, I can pick it up in Max/MSP Jitter. The picture's a bit ropey though - sync issues or maybe artificial light.
I'd kept the W95 Connectix diskette, but it corrupted, so Driver Guide came to the rescue, as it has for me for the last 8-9 years.
The installation ended with a message saying some Windows files had been changed or downgraded, but it rebooted OK. I'm a little apprehensive, but we shall see." |

just make sure your parallel port is bi-directional or faster (ECP)in the BIOS and it will work fine.
Great Work!!!
Tip Take out the Infrared Filter and it works great as a night vision camera for security purposes."

"Ok cqc211nt works without compatibility mode and just disable the new unknown device that xp doesn t recognize, quickcam works anyway, and set the lpt to spp mode in bios so it should run better as i heard.
have fun with old quickcam color and xp"

"About this one i don`t know but the file cqc211nt rocks. It works on XP, but u have 2 have original CD or floppies from connectix. I run this in compatibility mode for nt4 on xp, the computer reminds me of a new hardware that it found and unapropriate drivers, but it works."
