"After re-installing WindowsXP Pro, I lost audio in the system. There was no sound of whatsoever kind. The device manager showed in yellow the absence of a driver for Multimedia Audio Controller. So I thought this driver would help. But this is not the driver for this purpose. I don't know where this driver would

"The driver even though its for Windows Me it worked fine with XP service pack 1. I had to do a manual install though and got to the point where it asks you for the cd but all you have to do is browse to the driver folder extracted and walla."

"Los drivers (según la carpeta)son para WinMe, aunque el XP los reconoce pero en forma incompleta ya que los drives correspondientes al Gameport no son reconocidos como así otros. Por consiguiente los recomiendo para otro sistema y NO para XP.

"Works fine, but you have to manually go into Device Manager and browse to the temp folder to install the driver. Then, the game port will say to insert the CD; click ok and browse to the same temp folder where the driver will be."
