"With Windows 2000 Pro this driver works almost perfectly. There is some packet loss that isn't really convinient if your an online gamer but, like me, it's good enough untill you decide to get a new nic. Awesome work, thanks a million. "Well, not so fortunate for me. I did get it installed, but I am trying to set up my Win2k machine as a server to host the dsl connection for my other pc. When the internet is connected to one nic, the other nic will always say "Network Cable Disconnected". And it doesn't matter which one (either the D-link or the 3com) is the internet connection. I can swap them without rebooting, release/renew and get an ip on the other nic, and then the other will show "Network Cable Disconnected". Maybe it's not the nic, but it sure is frustrating, and would like to know if anyone is having any luck with this type of setup. I tried using both Wingate and Sygate's software, and neither helped fix the problems (with assigned or specified ip addresses)."

"Just as the drivers I posted (Win2K and NT), installation runs smoothly and apparently everything is OK until you try pinging another directly connected workstation and loose over 35% of replies and get constant timeouts when accessing resources trough this board. If anyone is actually getting some work done with this NIC please let me know it might just be my case (even though everything works OK when I replace the NIC). I'm getting really tired of these NICs and am trying different drivers until I loose my patience and I through them out the window. Good luck !!"

"well the card worked fine after driver install on win2k pro workstation build 2195, but my modem was unable to agree on PPP protocols with my ISP's server. Also boot took a lot longer, and the OS ran a lot slower in general. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both items and nothing worked, so I reinstalled win2k and left the NIC out...wondering if there still some sort of bug in the drivers to cause this..."
