 "EXCELLENT, PERFECT, WONDERFUL! Thank you. :o) I was beginning to believe a driver for a 1512SL... was a myth. lol I believe this driver truly has ALL Packard Bell moniters. But for the less computer literate, you should add this......
This is a self-Executable file that installs the driver for the your monitor. Just run the pbmon.exe file, and go to "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel." Double Click on the "Display" Icon. Click on the "Settings" Tab. Click on "Advanced." Then Click on the "Monitor" tab. Click on the "Change" button. Click on next, Click on "Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want, which is usually not preselected, click next. Make sure "show all Hardware" is selected. Scroll down on the "Manufacturers list to "Packard Bell", Click on it. Go to the "Models" list, and scroll down to the "Packard Bell model you have, and click on next, click next and follow the guide to setup the driver." |

"Well, this is for those of us still using windows 95 or those cutting edge folk using win 98.
No drivers for XP here (or longhorn...), nor for the PB a720 (opened up the file manually), which is what I am looking for. This is false advertsing in more than one way, i would say!
Stay well clear is my humble advice."

"I installed the download, guess I'll have to see if it will make a difference. I needed the model 1412sl, and it listed the 1412sme? . But it has to be closer than the compaq 1502 that was as close as I could come before.
