"It didn't work at all for me and in fact my system wouldn't boot afterward. I had to restart my machine in Safe Mode and use System Restore to revert back. The TV Tuner card I have is definitely based on Philips SAA7130HL, but with so many chinzy generic card manufacturers it's no wonder there can be problems. All I know of my card is it's "Made in China" and the app software is "InterVideo WinDVR". My system often crashes upon exitting the TV, and Microsoft Error Reporting says it's due to a poor version of cap7134.sys. Arghh! ..no solution in sight. I also let Windows Update find me a signed online version of SAA7130HL driver, which it then installed, but my TV didn't work AT ALL after that and I had to roll back again."

"If I remember the installation was horrible but I may be confusing with drivers for my 3dfx card which was much worse in the case I'm not messing up with two cases... At any rate one of them was horrible to configure, you had to run them with regedit32.exe or some kind of registry adding file to add it for your windows registry and it was just painful to do it anually without a proper installation process... Just bear in mind I may confused the cases and this driver may have a normal installation setup that comes along..."

"I bought a SABRENT TV TUNER CARD from Tigerdirect.com (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=M501-1202). The card didnt work with the drivers on the cd ( they were totally outdated). I was running windows xp professional and thought that the tv tuner card would only work with media center. I searched the web and couldnt find one that could work until I found this driver. It immediately installed and was hassle free. TV showed clear on my LCD monitor.
