"Hi all. I've wasted a lot of time looking for drivers for my SnapScan 1212P scanner (one with on/off switch). I am running XP Pro and finally got a solution. Go to the following link www.armin-eberle.de/Snapscan_1212p/Snapscan_1212p__E_/Snapscan_1212p_WXP__E_/snapscan_1212p_wxp__e_.html I followed this guys instructions and it worked....for real. I got a communication error like he said I might and I just powered the scanner off and then on again (with Windows running) and I was up and running. I have tried it with both versions of the Scanwise software (links on his site) and have been able to scan with both. Give it a shot...it's the only thing I've seen that works."
