"It was very easy to install. My wind 98s.e. recognized the ram drive and installed new icons for D and E drives. As soom as I can get some new ram drive media I will test to see if I can write to my D drive."

"To get a DVD drive to work on an older slow system, make sure that it does not share its controller with any other device. I run this DVD on IDE controller 1, a CD-burner is on IDE controller 0, and the machine boots from an Adaptec 2940-A Ultra-Wide PCI SCSI controller with four 7200 RPM hard disks. It also helps if the SCSI controller is not on the same PCI bus as the sound card or the video adapter.

"The PDF manual appears to be in Japanese which I can not read but the default install is in English. I believe it is incorrect to call this a driver. It appears to provede a UDF file system only. One of my drives is capable of DVD-RAM operation. The "driver" sees it but does not think it can use the drive. Selecting access VIA SAI UDF file system driver in the SAI file system switch utility causes wide spread mass storage failure of disks that are already formated and are not intended to use the UDF format."
