"I got myself a fan cooler for the laptop computer and the fan cooler came with 4 usb ports. However, my Windows 98SE does not have a copy of the HIDCLASS.SYS driver. I got it from here and it is an older version but it works great. Now I can use a mouse and a jumpdrive and two more whatever I needed it. Thanks."

"first attempt. Downloaded this file successfully. Unzipped it to a folder, seemed to unzip ok, but could,t find it in the folder 3rd 4th & 5th attempt . "I already have hidclass.sys and hidparse.sys but when i go to load usb im asked for hidusb.sys.i enter the verification code and then download hidclass.zip to windows/system32/drivers folder but when i try to open it it asks for code again but it wont let me enter the code. can someone help me im cracking up!"

"I tried to use this driver to install a Targus AMU05 USB mouse. Win98 wanted hidclass.sys, which it was satisfied with this file, it then wanted the mouhid.vxd file which isn't included with this file, I had to use usbfiles.zip to finally load all the drivers. The USB mouse works great in WIN98SE."
