"Sorry, it doesn't work for the 82C930A Sound device in the motherboard of my NEC Ready 9619.
Another driver Optiw95.exe found elsewhere on this site does work but you have to scrutinize the all the readme files first and do exactly as they specify."

I had to reformat my drive(again)
just to get control back.
System seems fine now, but you won't find me using this driver.

"I used the driver and it worked great for 3 of 4 components.But !!!!!
When I installed the component it screwed the computer.
It froze intantly, with no mouse icon, and displayed the error message
"rundll32 error, you must restart your computer."
Yah, right this code corrupted my sys.ini file, and several others.
I suggest the programmer remove it from the site, and re-examine it for possible hacker corruption.
I recommend no one use this driver."
