"I downloaded this driver for my IBM RAK1 KB-7993 keyboard for use in Win98.
The driver install does NOT install all the files where they need to go. You have to manually copy all the .DLL files from the IBMTOOLS dir to the IBMTOOLS\APTEZBTN dir. If this is not done, then IBMTOOLS\APTEZBTN\APTEZBP.EXE will crash on start because it cannot find the .DLLs it needs. The .DLLs have to be in the same dir as IBMTOOLS\APTEZBTN\APTEZBP.EXE .
The Mute and Volume keys work fine, with an unexpected bonus, left and right volume sliders. The Application launch buttons are easy to set, and work without error.
I also encountered the problem of the Play CD button not starting the Win98 CD player. Once the CD player was launched, the controls worked smoothly."
