"This driver works on XP Home (SP1). It fails to install when prompted, but if you carry on and manually install it and point to the dir on your HDD it will find it (path on my PC is C \Programme Files\Okidata\W2k Drv\Okipage 6w. Yes, it installs as the 6w instead of the 8w - but works 100%. Any problems drop me a line (PS I only check this email about twice a week .... be patient. and remember HE HAS RISEN ..... -)"

"Don't laugh but, I have a real old system (Windows 3.1) which only has a floppy disk drive and I want to load a driver for the Okipage 8W printer and give the system to a friend who doesn't have any system. The driver I find to download is 1.8MB and the floppy is only 1.4 and it won't take more than one disk so I can't put the download on two disks. The system I'm downloading on just keeps telling me the disk doesn't have enough room. Is there a generic driver or another driver you're aware of which is less than 1.4MB that I can down load. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks, Bob"
