"The driver works fine in turning on and restarting the laptop (AMS Tech). But when I tried to shut down the computer, the process stopped at the screen saying "Windows is shutting down". I had to manually turn off the computer. After that, I turned on the computer again, Windows did not try to scan the discs like it would usually do when it is improperly shut down. So, it seems to me that Windows was already shut down completely, except the screen. Any ideas why the shutting down process stopped at "Windows is shutting down" screen even though it had already been shut down."
