"I didn't succeed in installing my scanner Artiscan 6000C and if I open the imaging program of Windows 98 SE I can't select a scanner because it is unabled in the list of the file menu.

Before I had a diskette of Tamarack 4.0.

What do I have to do?

"I was hoping to get a driver with 32-bit support for an Adaptec SCSI card, but this one is still the old one (without 32-bit support). Do you know of a driver that will work with this scanner and that does have 32-bit support for the Adaptec SCSI card?"

"You have to go to the system control panel and have windows look for new hardware after each windows reboot since windows most of the time doesn't detect the scanner at startup. If your're not using Tamarack's SCSI adaper, but a third party one (not necessarily Adaptec's) The intsll setting for adaptec scsi cards works fine. The driver seems to have problems with images of 1/4 GB and above."

"ref 12000c / the driver 4.2 does not work for me in W98SE. it is seen, it knows its SCSI ID but it refuses to work. On www.driverforum.com one suggested the following GO INTO THE BIOS AND CHANGE TO EPP MODE ONLY. IT SHOLD WORK FROM THERE ON DO NOT CHANGE ANY OTHER SETTING IN THE BIOS I did not tried this yet."

"I have this driver running on Win98. As a second OS I have running Win2K but my scannerdriver is not supported. Can I obtain a equivalent driver for my 6000C Tamarack scanner. TTI does not support these types of scanners any more. Who can help me?"
