"Windows 98SE will happily munch on this little morsel without complaining too much. But if you try to play any sounds with it you hear nohing but silence or the occastional crackle. We did get some sound for a fleeting time on and off but most apps gave us the "is another app trying t ouse the audio device" error message. Have tried several drivers on this website and they all appear to be the same or very similar With similar results. May have to buy a more up to date card as this chipset must be quite old by now (card has ISA interface) *****

"Good news is it worked with ancient ISA version of YMF7198-s. Bad news is your system won't recognize file. Rename it so it has .exe on the end of filename, run it and it'll unzip into same directory file was downloaded into.. then navigate to the resulting Disk1 folder and run setup.. party on!"
