"I downloaded this driver and extract its contents on a folder in the desktop I named EZCam. I plugged in the EZCam USB to my computer loaded with Windows XP OS. XP recognized new hard ware and looked for driver. Then I point it to the location of my this newly saved diver. XP noted that the driver is not digitally signed but I click Ok any way. Everything installed successfully like a breeze. Camera worked just fine with the programs I used."

"Help Anyone ! I have a Karce WebCam Model Ki-820 bought from a shop that is no longer there. Came with driver CD - worked OK in Win98SE, but when I upgraded to XP 6 months ago - trouble! Install program wont run under XP. Hong Kong manufacturer Karce NEVER replied to 9 emails. CD readme file gave wbsite as www.mmedia.com.tw for driver updates and to use serial number TMS-00002000 and PIN TMSA-0002. Website is owned by Metamedia but those numbers no longer on their dropdown window. After 9 more emails to Metamedia, only got two autoreplies saying contact Cam manufacturer for driver. Round and round in circles!!! So I opened cam cover and found chip labelled- P X I (where the X is in a circle)next line - PAP002AQ next line - 001702A. Sent this info to both Karce and Metamedia - no replies. Does anyone know what chip maker this is? Can any other driver work? Is there a generic driver that works on USB Webcams? Win98SE driver file name is p_USB733.sys but author company shows only "USB PC Camera". No where to go with this! Can this EZCAM driver work or only for this EZCAM brand? One program on CD= "Photo EZ" but maybe no connection with EZCAM? CD setup.ini shows - Company=Meta Media, Inc./ ProductModel=USB PC Camera/ SerialNumber=TMS-00002000/ SerialKey=66. Unfortunately, when I went to update it, it didn't say USB Cam, it said USB Device and when I tried to install the new driver I downloaded, per Hok Lam Un's instructions, it wouldn't take. Help! "The driver installs fine, and works for awhile using various video software. But then the software freezes and the computer has to be re-booted before the camera will work again. Using the P10U EZ Cam (for which Ezonics will not provide XP drivers), with Win XP Pro. If anyone comes up with drivers other than the STMicroelectronics drives included in this download (and several other downloads on the site), I'd sure appreciate hearing about it. Thanks,"

"It works fine! What I did was download www2.driverguide.com/files/uploads11/18547/ezcamUSB_W2K-WXP.zip via www2.driverguide.com/uploads/uploads11/18547.html then unzip the zip file to a folder. Right click My Computer in Windows Explorer then left click Manage in the pop-up menu that will get to Computer Management. Then, left click Device Manager under System Tools in Computer Management window. In the right pane, I saw a USB Cam with question mark under unknown devices. Right click it, then left click Update driver ... in the pop-up menu. Left click to select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), then left click Next> then click to select "Search for the best driver in these locations" and "include this location in the search " and uncheck everything else, then left click Browse button to select the folder I have unzipped ezcamUSB_W2K-WXP.zip, then left click OK and Next> got my Ezonics EZCam USB as WebCam II and working driver installed."
