"There's only one thing I need. The device driver number to type in autoexec.bat. I tried to manually load the driver but I need the device driver number (i.e.- C \mscdex.exe /d mscd### /v) If anyone knows, please tell me what number this device driver is! Thanks! o)

I'm trying to revive an old Packard Bell 486, with crashed harddrive. I'm using a Win95 Utilities Disk I made up for such occurances, but the mscdex file I have is returning no CDRom found.

"All I have in my Packard Bell is Dos because my computer was formated. I've been trying to reload windows but keep telling me cd driver not found. I believe the driver is MSCDEX since I have a Pakcard Bell Legend 36CD. How I can fix this problem so I can reload windows again?"
