"Installed ok when adding the 2500 pci card to a Soyo k7vem-pro whose onboard via chip went south. Running Win98SE. Highest resolution with 16 bit color is 800x600 otherwise the higher the resolution the lower the color bit count."

"This may be a duplicate rating, or may be confused with another of similar name. In any case, the Install directions are very inadequate. To get this to work, 1) Unzip the w9x_2500.zip, 2) Run the Win95at2, 3) Run the At241600, which will create the actual driver files, 4) Do the Settings\Display\Have Disk process, and 5) Immediately set the refresh rate to something low, and then work it back up depending upon monitor. (First time, all I got was an "Out of Range" message on monitor.) If you don't see the Win95at2.exe and then the At241600.exe, then this is intended for another driver. Otherwise, you should have good luck."

"This workd well on a W95-B machine. The Install help file was very incomplete, though, and should have said 1) Unzip w9x_2500.zip, 2) Run Win95at2.exe, 3) Run At241600 (which finally creates the the actual driver files) and finally 4)Start the Change adapter driver/Have Disk process on the PC. Caution: The install takes effect immediately, and may set the refresh rate beyond your monitor's rating. I received an "Out of Range" message after reboot, so immediately set refresh to something safe, say 75, and work back up from there."

"This driver sucks. It doesn't do anything - and is certainly not the Diamond Stealth 2500 driver for Win95. Bad, bad bad."

"Using Win98SE...Extracted files and loaded driver but only displays 16 colors. I used to have 256 colors before I had to reload my Win98SE and subsequently lost my Diamond Stealth 2500 driver...hence my search here...any help appreciated!"
