"Driver does work for Win98SE, however, the "setup.exe" didn't really do squat - perhaps it's only for Win3.1...
Plus, the files won't all fit on a standard 1.44 MB floppy. You'll need to remove files (either the Win 3.1 drivers (*.drv) or the "RM931DRV.EXE" program) in order to make them all fit.
In order to make it work in Win98, open the Device Manager (right-click on "My Computer", select "Properties" alternatively, click "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", then "System" icon), then select the "Device Manager" tab. Double-click on the "Opti 931AD" line, and it will tell you it needs new drivers. Follow the prompts, let Windows search for drivers, and then select "Specify Location". Hit the "Browse" button and follow the route to where you unzipped the files, and hit OK. From this point, follow the prompts.
You will need to do this twice - once for each "OPTi 931AD" line you have in your Device Manager.
So far the only problem I have I believe is hardware related - pink noise in the background. It's noticeable in headphones anyway, and I don't think a driver can fix that.
Good Luck."
