 "I use since a while Windows 2000. I downloaded the new Mustek1200CP driver for Win 2000 and after that the Twain Interface stopped showing the preview scanned image. Also after normaly scanning. The window where it should show the image remains grey. So I cannot change, crop or select the image. After scanning the picture often does appear in the program I am using and that acquired the image. But I am not able to enhance it beforehand. I cannot change the size of the image, which makes it impossible to copy CD etiquetes images.
Often I get the message "UI.exe generated failures". What to do?"

"For mustek 1200cp, fixwinxp.exe it works only with the driver for Win2000. So download driver for win2000 (not the winxp driver) at www.mustek.de/cgi-bin/verifyserial.cgi and than use fixwinxp with this driver. For me it works even if at the and of installatins winXP is telling that my scanner it may not work properly"

"I have downloaded fixwinxp many times and from many places. When I run it, the box comes up, but there's no language or anything in the box to click on! Anyone who can help me with this problem or give me a hint would be greatly appreciated! Thank You"

"to get this driver to work you must remove all the software that came with your scanner then put the driver in but dont put the software back use another editing program and it works fine"

"It is a bit fiddly, but I got it working eventually. Try uninstalling the driver first or trying the install program without fixwinnxp first."
