"Drivers is not compatable with the yamaha ymg724x-v when used in windows xp or vista.

The yamaha ymf720 is actualy a DS1 native driver.

YMG724xxx named series drivers tend to register as 16bit and are blocked by vista as not being 32bit, and lack several lines of programing in the .INF files."

"This driver was shown for use in Windows XP, but after unzipping it only had a folder named Win9x. When I tried to update my previous older driver (that does not work) from Device Manager, it said there was not a better driver from what I already have.

There is no Setup.exe file in it so I cannot do a first time install but only a ydsxg04.inf, that might be used for updating."
