Friends and neighbors, I have news for you: DOSX.EXE is in my Autoexec.NT file and it is in my Path too. NO GO.

This driver is only taking up space and making a lot of people mad. Why is it even here?

You can get the same results by turning off your computer and leaving it off, why waste the download time?"

"I tried all of the above without success, finally went to this site and downloaded the files for a Scansoft 1200 UB Plus. ******* CAUTION ******** 1. Install the files with the scanner unplugged from the pc. 2. Do not ReStart, when the install is complete. 3. Shut the pc down!!! 4. Plug in the scanner. 5. Boot the pc up and Win XP found "New Hardware". Everything worked fine from there. GL"

"Here is an ode to Michael Scott's message...Download this file, then pns1200ub+xp from Jerry. Install this file ( choose "ignore" if it tells you some .dll file is in use). Do not re-boot when it prompts you to do so. Now unzip the pns file- and extract all the files to a folder, then run web.exe, don't reboot then either. Shutdown (not restart). Boot up, then plug in the scanner or go to device manager and update the driver (automatically find driver). This worked for me...( I have winXP)"
