"Driver installation and scanner 12000SP SCSI works perfect, but
installation description in readme-file is incomplete (last step missing). Successful installation deinstall any scanner driver directly in hardware manager, reboot, perform readme.txt instructions, reboot in last installation step (popup-window), open system manager -> system -> hardware -> hardware mannager(Geräte Manager) -> scanner device (still with '?') -> properties -> driver -> actualise driver -> assistant starting -> let search automatically, will find uncertified driver 1200 SP III. Accept that. After assistant finished, scanner can be found in hardware manager correctly and can be used with scan software (e.g. iPhoto Plus 1.2) without rebooting directly."
