Ok here it goes... I HAVE TESTED IT IT WORKS PERFECTLY.

First connect your coolcam

then it will tell you that xp has detected it

now just point xp to the unzipped files (wherever you unzipped them)

IT WILL SAY SOMETHING ABOUT NOT BEING FULLY SURE ABOUT XP COMPATIBILITY just click on continue installing

IT WILL DOWNLOAD SOME FILES FROM THE INTERNET just let it do its work

finally it will report that it has been succesfuly installed.

NOW YOU CAN USE THE COOLCAM AS A WEBCAM TOO P and timlex didnt knew about this. ( I use it with yahoo!messenger )

"Thanks so much. It worked! I upgraded to XP, and my camera would nolonger work. I had pics on the camera that I needed to download, and no one could get it work. I tried this driver and it worked with no problems. Just download, unzip, and save files to your hard drive. Then connect the camera, and let it do it's thing."

"This driver is for coolcam model number cpo75 which is located on the bottom of the camera. I had a CP082 cool cam so I went to www.timlex.com and found the driver update for my model number. Thanks, without the company name I couldn't find the correct driver anywhere."

"just found this cam at a thrift store for like $2 -- the driver works great but only via a twain interface (cannot find an application to just pull the images to a folder, must download with TWAIN, then save each one)"

"I downloaded and I think I unzipped, but can't find the specific files they said to save to the hard drive. Connected my camera and nothing happened. I ahve Windows XP....somebody please help!"
