"A more generic and apparently earlier version than was shipped with the Pivot 1700 monitor. About all it does is flip the image 90 degrees, and didn't show any additional controls on my setup, but it sits 'on top of' the existing video driver. All the pivot software has a way of exposing the failings of the underlying video driver, and this is no different. I think this might have been the original, demo version of the software that Pivot released when they were primarily in the hardware business, before they turned into the 'software only' Portrait Display Labs, and stopped being involved in the manufacture of the Pivot monitors; first for Radius, and then in collaboration with one of the Korean or Taiwanese monitor manufacturers- AOC, I seem to remember."

"I have an older Portrait Monitor and didn't think I could use it to its full advantage. Before coming to this site (Drivers.com) I went to the Portrait WebSite and downloaded their trial version for the Pivot monitor. It did indeed work but would have cost $50 if I wanted to buy it. I tried this free driver version and although it didn't have one of the features that the Pivot Drivers had it worked splendidly!!!!! Wonderful in fact. I had no trouble loading either. I burned it on a cd and then used the "run" install on the Start button. Thanks so much for finding this driver and I highly reccomend it's use."

"I have been looking for the driver for my Portrait/15 Plus moniton for about 2 years. It worked for horz but I needed a driver to pivot it. I used pivot.exe and it works! The file is in zip form. One of the files, after unzipped, is an instruction booklet and that answered the few questions I had. -- John Sexton"

"i thought i needed a driver for xp but just started in safe mode with vga...my pivot worked fine ..get pivot pro software to make any monitor "rotate" working right now, no additional monitors, using default windows and plug and play..."
