"I first read mavs pimp and Jennifer's comments, I had a laugh, and then downloaded the driver which is supposed to be for all CTX Monitor named models "ctx8.exe". Guess what! My newly installed Win95 doesn't like it! Ta Ta ... will search for the manufactorer's website I guess."

"Well, this was good for some laughs. I followed the instructions to install the file. When I got to the list to select your monitor, I didn't know what to click, but it said to just click OK anyway, so I did. Rebooted and had TWO full width half height screens, lol. Squished down, of course. I moved both mouse pointers at the same time to get to control panel>device manager on both screens and deleted the monitor there. Rebooted and let Windows do its thing, installed as "standard" monitor. I am leaving this alone now, it is working fine as a "standard"."

"Even when you do "have disk" at the step where you select the monitor class from the list (the display wizard), it still asks you for a monitor class. What class is a PL-9?"

"Win95 kept finding the wrong adapter & crashing. I couldn't get into Display Properties to change the Display type as instructed. So in Safe mode I deleted all display adaptors, let Windows set up the monitor it wanted, then didn't reboot but instead followed the instructions provided. It worked - not great resolution but good enough!"
