"Have I/O device error message when trying to run a particular set of disks on a laptop with DVD RAM drive- did not fix the problem I was having. The disks do run properly on another XP machine that I have. Although, the other machine, a desk top, has a DVD drive. Driver download may work for someone else with a different problem."

"expected this driver to make windows xp recognise my dvd ram drive for what it is,,,, xp still reads my drive as a cd rom drive

as a result my copying software still doesnt recognise any recordable drives....drive is sw9581....easy cd creator5 platinum

still doesnt see this drive...may work for others"
