"I'm downloading this file again because it didn't work right the 1st time.I have the Xcel 2000 chipset on my system & I'm not too pleased with it.I'm running a 333Meghtz Celeron which is adequate for my needs. However, I have no sound!It took me forever to find the right drivers for this board.Now that I have them, they will not install.I use Installshield cause it's built in to Windows 98 that I use.The meter goes to 95 % then stops.I get 2 error messages but I can't recall them right now. The sound system is onboard & the sound card is installed right.It also took me forever to get drivers for my Graphic Display.Then I had to re-install my monitor. I use Winamp alot for my MP3's and I have to have these drivers to run it.So, I've told my son about this who knows everything about computers but he hasn't gotten around to upgrading and fixing my system.I get alot of used hardware and we build our own PC's and network them all together. What I need to know is , does anyone have this problem and if so, how do you fix it? On a positive note,I'm assuming the drivers will work OK when they do get installed. Next time, I may switch to something else.If and when I get this right,I'll be content cause I need my music.Any help? Thanks."

"After some headache, it worked perfect on Win98 SE. I unzipped and setup the driver with Device Manager, but the "Win98 SE" driver did not work. It installed, but I had no sound. I had to use the "Win95_98" driver to make it work properly."

"Having just been given an AMD 1800, I was not supplied with any soft/hardware disks. Through Driverguide I managed to dl missing dll's. Most likely if the previous owner had come here, I would not now have this computer!"

"Hola alguien, quisiera saber si alguien ha tenido problemas instalando windows 2000 profesional en un equipo con una tarjeta M756LMRE-H, de ser afirmativo, quisiera saber como lo ha solucionado ya que hasta ahora me ha resultado imposible instalarlo. Gracias"
