"Given an old Tosh Sat 4090XCDT. Could only get 16 colours at 1024x768. Now can get 24. Old driver W98(22), this one W98(40). It did say this driver was not designed for your system, but I ignored this and completed the install with no problems."

"This actually appeared to contain a driver for a 9840 which was not compatible with the display which is a 9525 - as the Driver claimed to be.

We did load it as we assumed it was a compatible alternative. The System loaded it but said it was incompatible and we are still in the same 640X480 bind."

"I updated the Bios on an old Toshiba Satellite 4030 CDS on which I had installed W98 SE. Toshiba warns that you need a driver for the Trident Cyber video adapter 6.45.5441.29.98 22-1 or later. Ofcourse this driver is not available from the Toshiba site (that would make too much sense wouldn't it?). The driver that is available from Toshiba is 6.45.5441.26.98 22-1. With this driver from Toshiba you will encounter the most incredible display behaviour. With this driver everything is fine again!"

"I installed this driver on a Japanese Toshiba Dynabook 2550S. Had to change Dispay Properties-Settings-Screen Area to max to make the desktop appear on the entire LCD screen. "Screen Colors" worked on all settings."

"HELP! I'm using a TravelMate 342T with 190 odd meg of RAM trying to find the 2K driver for this graphics card. The NT one gives distortion on screen unless hardware acceleration is at none?"
