"I had problem "The device driver for 'Western Digital WD7193 SCSI Host Adapter' device is preventing the machine entering standby. Please close all applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need to update this driver."

This means hibernate or standby failed under win 2000 pro SP4. I did not test any further.

(Remove "mapson" suffix from email if you know how to fix the problem)"

"It's a native Western Digital driver. Created once it's working fine with WNT 3.51, 4.0, 2000. My respect to guys from WD. But this driver nothing for W2K without installation *.INF file. And so, much greater respect to Dan Larsen, who write this INF file."
