 "This driver works great for the CTX 17xx group (which is an older monitor) on Win95 and 98. I haven't tried it on winNT4. Windows ME does not support many monitors so research before you install ME or even buy a monitor for it. There is another driver for the newer VL (value) PL (plug in play) EX (executive) and MS (multimedia) monitors that is posted on DriversGuide. Just do a search on the keyword CTX and you will get a whole list of CTX drivers. If you want a driver specifically from the CTX site, go to this page and click in the navigation box on the left on "download drivers" www.ctxintl.com/reseller/r_sts/sts_navigation.htm
An ftp window will pop up, where you click on the Monitor folder. There are currently, as of this date, two drivers - old and current. It is yours and my guess as to what is considered old and new but my guess is that the new is for Win2000 and all older operating systems should use the one named "old." The old appears to be the driver offered here as CTXINF.

"Well, I can read and found the Drivers link on the CTX page... unfortunately, I receive an error404 when I try to connect to ftp.ctxintl.com. When I use Gozilla I get the same in the leech mode, so I'm open to suggestions. I tried to get it from this page a minute ago and it times out after 100 attempts to connect. Any help or just a file attachment would be much appreciate. I have a VL400 for my kid and the VL950 for myself. TIA

Can i added this new type in the inf.file in the same way as a 65khZ-Monitor with 120Hz rate.
My monitor is typed as FCC ID DBL1765CD"
