"Working Win2000pro. After extensive search and tried many drivers from Logitech, none of which worked -- Success with this one! However there does not appear to be a valid INF file for the drivers to load correctly in Win2k so the device is detected after each boot and unable to find the right drivers until you tell it to disable the device. It still works ok then, but shows with a yellow ! in device manager.

I had the original CD (win3 &95 only) which helped. I also had the "No space on Temp directory expanding %S!" on 3rd attempt to install with 4GB free. I resolved this by converting from FAT32 to NTFS. Good Luck. If you know how to avoid device disable please post here. Good Luck All."

"Many thanks for this - the driver appears to work fine under XP Pro with my Connectix Parallel-port Color Quickcam. Installation required my original install disk/CD-ROM (Color QuickCam 2 Version 2.1 for Windows)."

"Many thanks for this - the driver appears to work fine under XP with my Connectix Parallel-port Colour Quickcam. I didn't need to disable the unknown device. If you don't have the original diskettes, just download the Connectix bundle on www.input-drivers.com/drivers/22/22488.htm, and unzip the files in the /disk1 directory onto the root dir of a blank floppy."

"I have disk 2 from the original software, but not disk 1 =((( Could you post the original disk so we could use it to get past the verification? I mean, why would we be installing the drivers if we didn't have the camera? =P"
