"i have had a days search and hours of frustration with this modem. i also am trying to get win95 to recognise it. i used this upload and it goes all the way through and then says win95 failed to recognise this modem. on bootup it says mwave plug n play modem but as yet no inf file is recognised. I know it is a miro mwave 33.6 vod modem as i got it out of an ast machine. I also know that win98 has a driver for this modem listed in its own inf database. I will try that.... thanks anyway"

"I Am hoping that this is the driver I have been looking for, although I have drivers for the mwave,pnp with the same model number they aren't any good with my fathers one, so thanks for the chance."

"I tried this driver on an AST computer which had had Windows 95a wiped off it and had Windows 95b reinstalled but it would not recognise it. Then tried the Windows 95a upgrade disk which came with the computer and found a driver on there. (I presume this is the same disk). This not only did not work but also wiped out the second IDE controller which the CD ROM was on causing more work to get it all back! It was only a 14.4 internal anyway, so we gave up and bought a 56.6 external as the computer needs upgrading soon anyway. Thanks though, it was worth a go."
