This is the diskette that came with my older Compaq notebook for DOS pcmcia acess and drivers. I don't know if it will work on other Compaq machines. It is presently installed on my notebook, and operates the pcmcia slot just fine. I would suggest going to the Compaq website to get the documentation on the pcmcia drivers. It will explain the use of each of the drivers included. The diskette is labeled "Compaq PCMCIA Suppert, Ver 1.25, Rev. A." The instructions on the diskette is "At the DOS prompt, enter A \install."
