"The driver downloaded and installed with no problem. Windows 98SE correctly identified my datatraveller and gave it a drive letter. I can open files on the USB drive. But whenever I try to access files more than 2 folders deep on the USB drive, it locks the entire system up cold, requiring a complete powerdown. This problem does not occur in windows 2000, XP, or Linux, which do not require this driver."

"I agree with Fish. This driver does not work with old windows 98, only 98SE. The program itself, once installed, says so in its error message. But its summary up there claims that it will. The summary needs to be edited.

"This driver caused my PC to hang and i have to force reboot. Somehow, my drive will work on Windows XP.

I noticed while my drive was intialising the display showed 2.0000693 instead of just 2.0. Maybe this is the cause of my problem.

I would appreciate help from anyone out there who have overcome this setback

"Excelente, works excelente. Once yopu install it, when you plug the usb you have to tell windows manually wich type of usb is. Windows Will ask for the driver, ypou have to choose them manually."
