** BEFORE attaching the scanner:

1. Download this driver's zip and extract the files.

2. Download FIXWINXP.EXE and run it.

3. When asked to, select the "web.exe" file extracted from the zip.

4. Continue the install process.

5. Reboot, THEN attach the scanner.

6. Scan!"

"This file seems to install the Twain files needed to work my scanner on my computer with Windows 2000 through Photoshop. However, after unzipping and clicking the .exe file my computer still does not show the scanner installed and I can't trouble shoot it. (It's like it doesn't exist). I can use the scanner through Photoshop Import function. I am unable to add the scanner throught Windows 2000 Add Hardware file since I don't have the necessary files to add the hardware.??? Really weird."

"there is an installer that requires this windows 2000 driver at mustek.com, it says that it will work with win xp after using the installer, but i havent tested it yet"
