"Please help me! I can install the modem using the drivers for this modem that are on the cd, but it only lets me install them to COM1 and COM2, where my modem is on COM4 i think. I have tried using these drivers, but when I point XP to the inf file, the space where it should tell me what modem it's for is left blank. If i install using the drivers from the cd, I can go to update driver in device manager, and point to this new driver, then my computer recognises what it is, but when it is copying the files, the computer crashes and reboots! PLEASE HELP!"
